  • Neurorehabilitation: individual, familiar and environment.

Providing tools to understand the Neurorehabilitation multidisciplinary process (bio-psycho & social), identifying and integrating the major causes and consequences of neurological disability, as well as the procedures used for boarding a personal, familiar and social adaptation to disability in an interdisciplinary model. Credits: 10 ECTS.

  • Neurorehabilitation Neuroscience Bases.

Intensify your knowledge about the nervous system: structural, anatomical and functional bases, exploration and evaluation methods, pathophysiology and injury mechanisms and the major therapeutic strategies used in the treatment of diseases of the central nervous system. Credits: 10 ECTS.

  • Rehabilitation, Prevention and Complication’s Treatment.

Provide knowledge and skills for the prevention and treatment of major complications that affect people with severe disabilities, especially in terms of respiratory problems, pressure ulcers, rehabilitation and treatment of neurogenic bladder and bowel (Urodynamic, Neuro Stimulation and Neuromodulation, pelvic floor rehabilitation, etc.) Credits: 10 ECTS.

  • Functional training in neurological disability, diagnosis and treatment.

Specialization program about core and complementary functional activities in rehabilitation process. Instructed in the protocol development work, in the training of the activities of daily living and transfers, gait training, functional diagnostics techniques assisted by neuromechanical, Kinematics and Kinetics and technical aids, orthotics and adaptations the most suitable environment . Credits: 10 ECTS.

  • Neurological Disability: Motor learning , physical activity and sport.

Introduce physical activity and sport as a tool for rehabilitation, socialization and health maintenance, providing the most advanced techniques of motor learning: Hydrotherapy, Bobath, Perfetti method, Boccia methodology, etc. Credits: 10 ECTS.

  • Pediatric Neurorehabilitation

Recognize, use and interpreting the main strategies of exploration, rehabilitation and stimulation of cognitive and motor development in Neuropediatric, Pediatric Neuropsychology (Neuroimaging, behavioral disorders, rating scales, etc.) and medical aspects, using the major work processes in Pediatric Neurorehabilitation. Credits: 10 ECTS.

  • Advances in the Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and Cognitive Stimulation.

Study advances in neuroscience referring to the field of neuropsychological rehabilitation. Plasticity of connections between brain and body functions. Statistics variables that contribute to neuropsychological recovery. Innovation on techniques and tools of exploration and diagnostic evaluation and its contributions to neuropsychological rehabilitation and cognitive stimulation. The evaluation with rehabilitation goals and results in neuropsychological rehabilitation and cognitive stimulation. Credits: 10 ECTS.

  • Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and Cognitive Stimulation disturbance in Acquired Brain Damage.

Mechanisms of cortical reorganization in Acquired Brain Damage. Techniques and tools for specific evaluation. Analysis and design of customized therapeutic strategies to develop new skills or functional recovery of the injured nervous system. Planning cognitive intervention programs in Acquired Brain Damage and monitoring results. Credits: 10 ECTS.

  • Neuropsychological Rehabilitation strategies and cognitive stimulation in pathologies with neuropsychological lesion.

Mechanisms of cortical reorganization in mental pathologies in mild cognitive lesions and dementia in children. New technologies in the diagnostic evaluation of cognitive, behavioral and emotional disorders. Strategies from a neurobiological, psychological and social perspective. Planning cognitive intervention programs and monitoring results. Credits: 10 ECTS.
