Neurological Foot Surgery
Foot deformity is characterised by fixed plantar flexion, that is, by walking on the toes. The so-called “club foot” may cause:
- Varus deformity of the foot
- Toe flexion
Equinus deformity has been divided into three grades:
- Grade 1: The equinus, varus and supination are mild. The varus and supination are correctable while the equinus cannot be reduced
- Grade 2: The equinus, varus and supination can be partially reduced.
- Grade 3: None of the three deformities can be reduced.
