What is the Memory Clinic?

La The Memory Clinic offers treatment to help people who have difficulties with memory and other cognitive problems such as attention, ability to make plans and take decisions due to a brain injury or condition.

Brain injury may cause cognitive, behavioural and emotional impairment, which manifests as difficulties in the following areas:

These problems may appear to a greater or lesser extent and affect the patient’s ability to perform daily activities. An attention problem may manifest as difficulty concentrating, following a conversation or performing two tasks simultaneously. Impaired memory may affect the ability to remember past events and also scheduled tasks. Difficulty in taking decisions will make the patient dependent on other people or make it difficult for them to adapt to changes.
